What is Human Trafficking?

Human trafficking is modern-day slavery that subjects children, women, and men to force, fraud, or coercion for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor. Globally, human trafficking is the second largest criminal industry.

Who are the Survivors of Human Trafficking?

This is who. She is a daughter, a granddaughter, your neighbor, your babysitter, the fact is trafficked women look like me and you. The majority of those trafficked are women - 70 percent - and risk for women may be heightened further in areas where extreme gender discrimination prevails.

Lack of Service Providers

With increased awareness of human trafficking there are a growing number of survivors in need of aftercare and a short supply of providers.
